Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Texture Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to:

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! Ann a card using Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Tree Rings Texture Fades Embossing Folder for the background. She also used a Lucky Love Impresslits 3D Cut and Emboss Folder and Bold Text 2 Thinlits Dies as the main focal point.

Andrea feels lucky when her favorite crafty designers come out with new products. Andrea used Dina Wakley’s new paper packs, Collage Sparks 2 and Collage Sparks 3, to add some oomph to this tag. She also used some paper from Simple Stories’ 12×12 Flea Market collection and made the whole thing out of a Ranger Kraft Tag.

Anna-Karin made a small canvas on the theme of being lucky. She used Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Emporium dies to die cut the word. The key is from Tim Holtz Word Keys.

Barbara used a Vignette Boxes Squares to make a Home Decor inspired by our theme. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Lucky Love 3D Impresslits Cuts and Emboss and Mini Lumber, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mini Stencils 6, Idea-ology Collage Layers Frames, Backdrops Volume 5.

Cheiron created a tag with a lucky lady. She used Tim Holtz Backdrops 5 and Palette Collage Paper for her background along with the Media Marks Stamp set. For the focal image she used a Photomatic photo, some Organic Layers, and clover from the Lucky Love dies.

Emma created a tag full of lucky symbols. She used the Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin and Emporium Thinlits Dies by Tim Holtz for her background before adding layers and dimension using Junk Drawer Baseboards and a Paper Doll. The tag was completed with a die cut four leaf clover from the Lucky Love 3D Impresslits Cut and Emboss Folder and Lucky Adornments.

Kath created an Art Journal page to celebrate life-long friendships and how lucky she is to have such wonderful friends in her life using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Collage Strips, Collage Layer Frames, Snapshots, Palette Ephemera and Stampers Anonymous Pressed Foliage, Entomology and Roses Layering Stencil.

Macarena feels lucky while travelling and watching the Spring waking up. She built the background using Tim Holtz Halftone and Rings stamps set and embossed it with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. For the composition she used her fave Tim Holtz Sizzix Destination die and Brushstroke Flowers 2.

Maura found this Funny Bones Lucky Charms stamp from Riley and Company perfect for her Studio Light Fantasy Tag and Tim Holtz Sizzix Mischievous Cats die.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ALCHEMY 12×12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARD FRAMES and Tim Holtz Sizzix LUCKY LOVE 3D Impresslits Cut and Emboss Folder.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Sizzix Alphanumeric Bullettin Thinlits to cut out the word “rebel” and used it as stencil for her background. She also used Distress Paint and Inks to add color to the background. She also used Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Sideshow on her background and different Ideaology Items for more interest.
